Varla Scooter Brake Pads

Take what you knew regarding Varla’s Eagle One and toss it out the window. The Varla Eagle One Pro comes here, and it is nothing like the one it replaced. It’s not just about the 52% bigger battery, even though it has something to do with it–more on that later.

The Eagle One Pro is Varla’s first monster scooter and it appears we’ll see plenty of high-performance, flagship scooters this year. This is in reference to Segway’s GT Series and the brand new Apollo Pro.

Varla’s Eagle One Pro sits on the edge of being an extremely light-weight scooter with borrowed specs of beast-scooters. It is heavier than the local light heavier models Apollo Phantom, Vsett 10+, as well as the Kaabo Mantis Pro, which weighs 79 lbs. Additionally, it also has 11 inches of road tires that are typical of beast scooters such as Storm and Wolf King GT. Storm or Wolf King GT.

It’s a great scooter. Varla Eagle One Pro scooter is also impressive with a well above trend top speed for a dollar. It also has an an impressive distance per pound as well as excellent braking per dollar. That’s not even the best aspect. This off-road scooter is about $640 cheaper than its closest rivals, Segways GT1 and the Wolf Warrior 11. Varla Scooter Brake Pads.

Due to the huge tires-something you’ve always wanted to hear about-the scooter offers a great ground clearance, with a total of 36 inches. They’re also excellent for traction, but could be better. The suspension is firm and bouncy for city trails, but the stiffness can be useful when driving off-road. But you might not like the narrow deck or uncomfortable kickplate, especially off-road.

Acceleration

Varla Eagle Pro Varla Eagle Pro’s acceleration is not typical of lighter heavyweight scooters, it is much more powerful. Varla Scooter Brake Pads. It is tested to have an acceleration rate of 2.1 seconds to the 15 millimeters mark. This is what is expected of veteran heavyweight scooters like that of the Wolf Warrior 11 at 1.9 seconds, Dualtron Thunder at 2.0 seconds, as well as the Dualtron Thunder II at 2.2 seconds. This is because the Varla Eagle Pro’s sole competition in the light heavyweight class includes that of the Vsett 10+ with a 1.9 seconds of acceleration, accelerating from 15 to mph.

Eagle One Pro Eagle One Pro uses the same throttle as the NAMI and Wolf King GT, which means that it also has identical dead zones. You might want to find an angle that will anchor your thumb in order to stabilize it and give it an anchor location when engaged.

Top Speed

We’re awestruck with the Varla Eagle Pro’s top speed, especially for its price. The scooter has a staggering forty mph top speed, which is well above average when compared to others that are in the same price bracket. The higher-priced Kaabo Mantis Pro only hits a 37 mph top speed, while the Inokim OXO, still at an expensive price has a lower speed of 36 millimeters.

However, it also faces competition from lower-priced models like those of Wolf Warrior X Pro which manages a top speed that is 43 mph as opposed to the similar priced Vsett 10+ reaches 43,5 mph.

In terms of weight, the scooter is in a league of its own. It also is comparable to that of the first Dualtron Thunder.

Hill Climb

The Varla Eagle Pro electric scooter is amazing for a variety of things including hill-climbing, which is certainly one of the most impressive. This electric scooter can go up the hills without losing energy, and it does not seem to slow down with heavy riders or in poor battery levels. When we conducted our 60-meter hill test at a 10% slope and a 10% gradient, the scooter was able to keep a speed of 17 mph (and more than) till around 10% charge. Varla Scooter Brake Pads.

The manufacturer credits the impeccable climb to the sturdy twin motors, rated at 1000W each, with a maximum power of 2600W. Varla claims that the motors generate 36 Nm or torque enough to push the scooter upwards up to 35deg.

Range

Nothing beats good mileage on the scooter and this Varla Eagle Pro electric scooter gives a good 58 kilometers of tested range. It is interesting to note that the only scooter within $400 of its Eagle One Pro that can beat it on the range is the Wolf Warrior X Pro, which has a range tested that was 41 miles. It outran other scooters with higher prices, e.g., the Kaabo Mantis Pro with a 33 miles distance, Dualtron Eagle Pro at 32 miles as well as the Vsett 10+ with 33 miles.

Behind the range lies a high capacity battery of 60V 24 Ah that has 1440 Wh of power. It’s larger and more energy-dense with 21700 battery cells. This is a step up from its predecessor, that of the Eagle One, whose battery was rated at 946 wh and had only 18650 lithium cells. Both batteries integrate smart battery management systems to ensure that the battery’s life is not compromised. The process of charging the battery to its capacity can take between 8 and 9 hours, but you can secure a second charger and reduce charging time to 4-5 hours.

Braking

Let’s face it, we would prefer that all scooters came with hydraulic brakes. That’s not to say that electric scooters equipped with cable brakes are unsafe or undependable when they need to stop. Absolutely not. In fact the cable brakes as well as EABS on Varla Eagle Pro Varla Eagle Pro offer proven braking power that is truly remarkable and simple to set up. Varla Scooter Brake Pads.

The e-scooter stops in just 3 meters from the speed at 15 mph. The performance is comparable with that of Vsett 10+. Vsett 10+. In addition, the Varla Eagle’s stopping power is superior to Kaabo Wolf King, the Kaabo Wolf King, Kaabo Wolf Warrior X Pro, NAMI Burn-E and Nami BURN-E2.

It’s possible that you don’t like squeezing the levers that are powered by cables on the Varla Eagle Pro like you would with an electric scooter with hydraulic brakes, but the Pro’s mechanical disc brakes do not leave anything to be desired when they perform.

The EABS will stop that the brakes aren’t locking up. They are adjustable via the P-settings displayed on the display. You can adjust them from 0 to 2 where 0 is on an insufficient setting, while 2 is for a high setting.

Ride Quality

The ride quality is good, but it’s not great. The only thing they don’t talk about when advertising all-terrain electric scooters is that the primary focus should be on off-roading features.

The pneumatic road tires that are tubeless are excellent for comfort, especially when riding offroad. Their tubeless design is perfect to avoid pinch flats caused by rocks. But, if you’re using the scooter to use primarily on city tracks, then you’re better off changing to self-sealing, knobby tires. These would automatically double your traction, retain your comfort, and decrease maintenance. Also, thanks to the tires and 17 centimeter ground clearance, obstacles in the track will not scratch the underdeck

The suspension is rigid. This Varla Eagle Pro could have benefited more from adjustable shocks or adapting the spring to lower spring rates. The stiff suspension is effective when taking on large bumps, and keeps the scooter from bottoming out. On well-maintained tracks, the suspension feels somewhat bouncy for the comfort.

The Eagle Pro also comes with a built-in steering damper. When driving at high speeds as well as straight track, riders can enjoy a great stability. At top speed the stability isn’t as good as that from dual-stem beasts such as the Wolf King GT but rather feels like the Dualtron Thunder or Nami Burn with a steering damper installed. On the downside, the damper on the steering also means that riders be forced to work harder on the bar handles when negotiating turns.

The deck is another cause to be concerned about. It’s too small, and with this shortage of deck space the riders are forced to rest their back feet on the footrest which is not ergonomically designed. The only bright side to this model is that Varla Eagle Pro compensates for a poor stance with an ergonomically laid-out cockpit that is comfortable on your hands. It is designed for comfort and convenience. The controls can be also ergonomically designed and compliment the well-readable, large 9 centimeter screen.

Overall, between the hefty steering feel and the athletic riding stance, and the intense acceleration, the Eagle One Pro is exhilarating to ride. It could also be workout when you’re on the road for a long time.
