The suspension is stiff and bouncy for city trails. However, the stiffness can be useful when driving off-road. Acceleration

Range

Nothing beats the good miles on an electric scooter and this Varla Eagle One Pro scooter has a reasonable distance of 58 kilometers in its tested range. The only scooter that is within the $400 range of its Eagle One Pro that can beat it on the distance is Wolf Warrior X Pro, with a test range to 41 miles. It outran other scooters with higher prices, e.g., the Kaabo Mantis Pro with a 33 miles distance, Dualtron Eagle Pro at 32 miles, as well as the Vsett 10+ at 33 miles.

Behind the range lies a high capacity battery of 60V 24 Ah that has 1440 Wh of power. It’s bigger and more efficient with 21700 cell batteries. It’s not as fun to squeeze the cable-actuated levers in the Varla Eagle Pro as you would on an electric scooter with hydraulic brakes, but the Pro’s disc brakes don’t leave much on the table when it comes to performance.

The EABS will stop your brakes from locking up. They can be adjusted using the P-settings displayed on the display. You can adjust them between 0 and 2 which means 0 is the weak setting and 2 is for a high setting.

Ride Quality

Ride quality can be described as acceptable however, it’s not exceptional. The only thing they don’t discuss when advertising all-terrain electric scooters is that priority falls on off-roading features.

The tubeless pneumatic road tires are ideal for comfort, especially when riding offroad. Their tubeless nature is great to avoid pinch flats caused by rocks. But, if you’re using the scooter for use mostly on city tracks, then it’s better to switch to self-sealing, tubeless knobby tires. They will automatically increase your traction, preserve your comfort, and reduce maintenance. Additionally, due to the tires and the 17 centimeter clearance from the ground obstacles on the track won’t scratch the deck beneath.

The suspension is stiff. This Varla Eagle Pro would benefit more from adjustable shocks or adapting a spring with lower spring rates. The stiff suspension is effective when dealing with large bumps and keeps the scooter from bottoming out. If the track is well maintained the suspension is a little too bouncy for comfort.

It is also equipped with a steering damper. Eagle Pro also comes with an inbuilt steering damper. At high speeds and straight tracks, users can enjoy a great stability. At top speed, the stability doesn’t match the stability offered by dual stem monsters such as Wolf King GT. Wolf King GT but rather feels like the Dualtron Thunder or Nami Burn with a damper for steering installed. However, the damper on the steering also means that riders have to push harder on the handlebars when trying to negotiate turns.

The deck is another cause of concern. It’s too narrow and, due to the lack of deck space, riders are constantly forced to put their back foot on the footrest that isn’t ergonomically designed. The only bright side is that the Varla Eagle Pro can make up for the sloppy stance by providing an excellently laid-out and comfortable cockpit that is comfortable to use. It was designed to be comfortable and convenience. Its controls are also ergonomically designed to complement the well-readable, large 9 centimeter screen.

Overall, between the heavy feeling of the steering and the athletic riding stance and the rumbling acceleration, the Eagle One Pro is exhilarating to ride. It can also be quite an exercise when you’re riding hard.

What Makes the Pro Version Different From Eagle One

• There were significant changes that Varla made to the first Eagle One to get the Pro. Below are some key differences:
• The Pro has a higher stated top speed at 45 mph and the first Eagle One has a manufacturer-cited top speed of 40 mph. It’s not a huge difference.
• The Pro is equipped with 1440 Wh of power, and the Eagle One’s battery is rated at 946 Wh. The difference is 52% that translates to better performance for the Pro.
• They were also upgraded with an 11.25 inches tubeless air versus those of the Eagle Ones 9.8 inch pneumatics.
